What Makes SAVE Effective?

SAVE teaches youth important life skills that benefit them in the real world. SAVE's success in engaging youth is garnered by using the arts, prevention education, mentoring, community service, advocacy and leadership development.
SAVE's school based coordinators are in the same school every day, supporting students social, emotional and academic needs in the long term.
SAVE's mission to prevent violence takes more than conflict resolution training. Youth in SAVE programs learn invaluable life skills that empower them for a life-time.
SAVE rewards and recognizes youth for their positive behaviors. SAVE encourages and supports youth who are making an effort to improve.
